Edward Cecil Fielder

Lance Corporal Edward Cecil Fielder, 242012, 2nd/6th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, was born in Paxtol, Kent in 1897. He lived at 8 Bolebroke Cottages, Perry Hill, Hartfield and enlisted in Hastings. He was killed in action on 19th July 1916 near Pheasant Wood, Fromelles, Pas de Calais, France, age 19 and has no known grave and is listed on the Loos Memorial ; Panel 22 to 25.

He was the son of William (1868) and Ann (1871) Fielder. He was known as Cecil. His brother Frederick Stephen Fielder died on 27th June 1916.
