Frederick Charles Tibbles

Private Frederick Charles Tibbles, L/7165, 1st Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), was born in Yalding in 1883. He lived in Hartfield and enlisted in Canterbury. He was killed in action on 23rd October 1914 near Ypres, Belgium, age about 31 and has no known grave and is listed on the Ploegsteert Memorial: Panel 2.

He was the son of Martha Tibbles (1844). He was possibly married to Louise E (Gainsford) Tibbles. His pre-war occupation was as an ex-Regular Soldier.
