Private John William Divall, 6347596, 6th Battalion, Queen’s Own (Royal West Kent Regiment), was born in Lewes District in 1918. He possibly lived at ‘Brickyard’, Shepherds Hill, Colmans Hatch. He was died on 20th May 1940 near Doullens, Somme, France, age 21 and is buried at Doullens Communal Cemetery Extension No.1: Plot 7. Row A. Grave 4.
