Private Thomas E Honeysett, G/1306, 2nd Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment, was born in Hartfield in about 1895. He lived at Yew Tree Cottage, Hartfield (Colemans Hatch) and enlisted in September 1914 in Tunbridge Wells. He was killed in action during attack on Hill 60 on 9th May 1915 near Aubers Ridge near Bethune, Pas de Calais, France, age 20 and has no known grave and is listed on the Le Touret Memorial: Panel 20 and 21.
He was the son of Mr and Mrs Honeysett.
