Private Thomas Humphrey, 33438, 1st/8th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, was possibly born at Thornhill Farm, Colemans Hatch in 1882. He lived at Thornhill Farm, Colemans Hatch and in Tunbridge Wells and he enlisted in Horsham. He was died on 9th October 1918 near Busigny, France, age about 36 and is buried in Busigny Communal Cemetery Extension: Grave V. A. 2.
He was the son of George Young Humphrey (1847-1912) and Dorcas (Wheatley) (1851-1930). He was married to Ann Caroline (Hudson). His pre-war occupation was a Farm Labourer. He previously served as 202826 in the Buffs (East Kent Regiment).
