Signalman Thomas Queen, 809485, Royal Corps of Signals, was born in Glasgow in about 1910. He died on 29th April 1942 in Singapore, age 31 and is buried in Kranji War Cemetery: Grave 7. C. 14.
He was the son of James and Helen (Healey) Queen. He was married to Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (Powell) Queen (1914-2004 ) and had the following children; Michael J (1936-), Elizabeth Anne (1937-1968), Geoffrey Thomas (1941-1994).
